Cristal Global said Friday it will increase prices on all its anatase and rutile Tiona and Cristal titanium dioxide products sold in Latin America.
The price will be raised to $200 per metric ton in all countries across the region.
The change is effective July 1, or as permitted by contract, the chemical maker said in a release.
Titanium dioxide is used in a range of applications including paint, sunscreen and food coloring.
