UN2014 is a jet black masterbatch specially designed for high gloss colouration of thermoplastics including PS, ABS, SAN, PE and PP. It can be used in compounding, injection moulding and extrusion applications and will retain good physical properties in the final articles. This product is suitable for use in a wide range of plastics that come into contact with food . METHOD OF ADDITION
UN2014 is designed for ease of dilution and homogeneous mixing and is therefore suitable for direct
addition using automatic dosing units or by pre-blending.
ADDITION RATE
The amount of masterbatch added depends on the performance requirements of the final application. Typical addition rates vary from 1% to 2% masterbatch.
PHYSICAL PROPERTIES
Pigment 50% jet carbon black Compatibility LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE, PP, ABS, SAN, PS, ethylene copolymers. It also offers a limited suitability in some PA, PVC, PET and PC applications.

PACKAGING
UN2014 is supplied in regular pellet form packed in 25 kg bags. It should be stored in a dry place.
UN2014 can also be supplied in micropulverised form under code UM2014. Recommended storage life: up to 6 months provided it is stored as directed.
